New Board Members Needed!

The board of Directors, during its February meeting, approved a change to our board structure moving forward. We have increased the number of voting positions from nine to eleven, and have opened four of those positions to be filled by regional parent representatives.

We are currently looking for parents from each of our four playing areas (Waynesboro, Fishersville, Stuarts Draft & Staunton). The requirement is that you must be an active parent while you are filling one of these four seats. Service on the board is limited to a meeting the first Monday night of every month in Fishersville. Any further service is at the desire of the board member. • What area do you currently have children playing in, or what area would they play in if they are currently travel players.
• Please discuss any current or previous non-profit board experience you have.
• Please discuss your professional career and any experience or talents that you might bring to the board.
• Please discuss any additional experiences that you would bring.
• Please discuss any experiences with the club and/or any thoughts you may have about the mission and direction of the club moving forward.
• Tell us why you are interested in serving.

As you know we are a volunteer organization. The club is always looking for talented, passionate and energetic individuals to help out where needed. As the club matures, we have been making an effort to bring professionals to the executive board to help govern. These new seats are intended to make sure we always have active parents involved on the executive board.
