Rec Coaches
Player Evaluation
It is important that all rec coaches fill out an evaluation sheet for their teams each season. This information helps us try and balance the teams as much as possible at each location. Please feel free to fill out the form, scan it and email it to us at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). You may also type the information into an email rather than scan it. Thanks again for your time and talents on the field!
Upcoming Coaches Meetings
Coaches meetings will be held as follows for all rec coaches. All coaches must plan to attend a session in order to fill out and sign a KidSafe form! Equipment and uniforms will be handed out during the meetings. Rosters are not handed out at the meetings. Instead, we email them as soon as all coaches are found for each division. Both meetings will be held at FUMC (Fishersville United Methodist Church) and will be conducted by Scott Harrison, our Director of Coaching. Coaches please RSVP the session you are planning to attend to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Current Rule Changes
The following rule changes are in affect:
1. The number of players on the field during a game per side will be:
| Divisions: | Players: |
|---|---|
| Kindergarten | 3 |
| 1st Grade | 4 |
| 2nd & 3rd Grade | 5 (4 + goalie) |
| 4th & 5th Grade | 7 (6 + goalie) |
| 6th Grade & Up - Boys | 8 (7 + goalie) |
| 6th Grade & Up - Girls | 8 (7 + goalie) |
2. There is a new substitution policy in affect: All age groups above kindergarten will be allowed to sub during the game using high school rules. Subs must be at the mid-line, ready, and the referee will beckon the player(s) on at an appropriate stoppage. Subs for 1, 2/3, and 4/5 should not be for tactical purposes, but only for exhaustion and or injury. Please remember our rule that everyone must play at least half of every game.
3. For the 2nd/3rd grade division, all opposing players are required to be back at the mid-line for goalie kicks.
