Get Involved Overview

Augusta FC is a volunteer organization. We rely on parents to get involved in order to have the resources we need to run soccer programs successfully twice a year. Coaches, assistant coaches and referees are a few of our most important resources. Without the help of volunteers who step up to fill these roles, we cannot offer soccer to all of the area youth that would like to play.

What does it take to get involved? Despite what many may think, we do not ask that our volunteers have previous soccer experience in order to volunteer. We only ask that you come willing to help and willing to learn.

Most of the volunteers that now graciously give their time to run the club started out just like you; a parent just asking how they could help. There are no barriers to becoming a club volunteer. We have training programs for coaches and referees. We have knowledgeable people willing to help get anyone who is interested involved. We just need to know that you are interested in helping.
